Like many other new immigrants living in the Keweenaw, Frank attained work in the booming copper mines. He performed various jobs for the Calumet & Hecla Mine, working as a watchman, trammer, and miner, among other positions.
At the time of his death in 1925, Frank was the grandfather of nine. He was survived by his wife Ursula and his children.
