Eugenia worked in the mills in Lowell or Lawrence, after leaving Canada with her sister, Aurelie, and eventually became a seamstress. Her first husband, Mr. Corriveau died in Bellevue Hospital of rabies in 1890, after being rushed there from their home in Rhode Island. The children from this first marriage were Eva and Lydia. Eugenia later married Arthur (Hercule) Derosier in Northborough, MA on April 3, 1893. They had four children: Lillian, Jeannia, Clarence, and Ernest. She lived in East Brookfield for 36 years, before moving to Worcester for 20 years.
Memere died at 11 Lisbon st. in Worcester in August,1955. Her funeral was postponed due to historic flooding from Hurricanes Connie and Diane. She is buried in Spencer, MA with her husband, Arthur, and two infants.
