Mrs. Mary J. Miller
Mrs. Mary Jane Kellett Miller, formerly of Fork Shoals and Greenville, died yesterday morning at the home of her son, Fate W. Miller, Kings Mountain, NC. She was ill only a few days.
Mrs. Miller was born and reared in Greenville County and lived here until three years ago, when she moved to Kings Mountain. She was a member of the Holmes Memorial church. Her husband Henry Miller, died several years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Annie Henson, Greenville; Mrs. Clara Welch, Kings Mountain; four sons, John and Fate Miller, Kings Mountain; Sam and George Miller, Greenville, in addition to several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Jim Meeks, Owings; Mrs. Emma Cogdell, Greenville; Mrs. Sallie Mattison, Fork Shoals; L.P. Kellett, Sam F. Kellett and Walter Kellett all of Fork Shoals.
Funeral Services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Holmes Memorial church, the Rev. Paul F. Beacham officiating. Interment will be made in Graceland cemetery.
The body will arrive in Greenville at noon today and pending the hour of service will be at the Thomas McAfee Funeral home.
