Kings Mountain - John Perry Miller, 80, of Kings Mountain, died at 8 pm Friday in Lowman Home in White Rock, SC. He had been ill for several weeks.
A member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, he was formerly employed by the Margrace Mill, now a Massachusetts Mohair plant.
Surviving are a brother, Sam Miller of Greenville, SC; and a sister, Mrs. Frank Sullivan of New York, NY.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Harris Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.

Kings Mountain, NC -- John P. Miller, 77, died Friday night in a rest home in White Rock, SC.
A native of Greenville County, SC, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Miller, he was a member of St. Mathew's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Inez Blanton Miller; two step sons, Carl Blanton of Thailand and Thomas Blanton of Kansas City, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Thomas Eubanks of Kings Mountain, a brother, Sam Miller of Greenville, SC; and a sister Mrs. Frank Sullivan of Long Island, NY.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 pm Sunday at Harris Funeral Home in Kings Mountain by Dr. W.P. Gerberding. Burial will be in Mountain Rest Cemetery at Kings Mountain.
