Mrs. Annie Moody

Mrs. Annie Miller Hinson [Henson] Moody, 60, wife of James Alex Moody of Travelers Rest, died at a local hospital at 7:30 pm Saturday after three years of declining health.

She was a lifelong resident of Greenville County, a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Jane Kelley [Kellett] Miller.

She was a member of the Methodist church.

Mrs. Moody is survived by the following children : Miss Cornelia Moody, [** all last names should read as Henson not Hinson] Leonard C. Hinson, Fate Hinson, Alvin W. Hinson, Wilton Hinson and Carlos A. Hinson, all of Marietta; James Henry Hinson, Miami,Fla. and J.C. Hinson, U.S. Air Force, stationed in England now home on leave; step-children James B. Moody, Clifford Edward Moody and Mrs. Alma Shipman, all of Marietta; three brothers, Sam Miller, Greenville; Fate and John Miller, both of Kings Mountain and one sister Clara Sullivan, New York City, and 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete but will be announced by the Mackey Mortuary. The body will be carried to the home of her daughter, Miss Cornelia Moody, at Marietta late Sunday afternoon to await the service.
