Her grandmother Anna's mother, (Margaret Gilmartin Tague) died December 21, 1929 the same year in New Jersey only a few days after Teresa died. Margaret was visiting from Scotland. Anna had to go to her Mother's funeral in New Jersey and was unable to bury her baby.
Theresa's father Harry picked up a small coffin at the funeral home and put the baby into it. Harry took a picture of his baby for Anna to keep. Harry and their other children (Mae, Eleanor, Peggy and Sonny) with their feet on top of the small coffin in the back seat brought the baby to Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio in the family car. There, they left the small coffin for burial.
Baby Eagens is buried in Calvary Cemetery in a one of the baby sections.
Her Grandmother Roseann Eagens is also buried in Calvary Cemetery.
