OBITUARY: Beaver Dam Daily Citizen, March 7, 1973, page 13.

Mrs. Laverne Clark, nee Minnie Karl, 208 Washington St., passed away suddenly March 5, at her son's home in Weyauwega. Funeral services will be from Murray Funeral Home at 10:30 and St. Peter Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Joseph S. Stier officiating, on Friday, March 9. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

She was born in Beaver Dam on August 8, 1882 to Mr. and Mrs. Frank X. Karl, and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Survivors are 2 sons, Jean Clark of Weyauwega and Karl Clark, Brookfield; a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Alvira) Brandt of Las Vegas; 1 brother, Jacob Karl, Beaver Dam; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Friends may call at the Murray Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Thursday and on Friday until the time of services. There will be a parish vigil at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
