OBITUARY: Beaver Dam Argus, Thursday, July 8, 1948, page 1.

Katherine Karl, for many years a resident of this city, died at Los Angeles, Calif., last week Friday, July 2nd, after a lingering illness.

The remains will be brought to this city and funeral services will be held at St. Peter church at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning to be conducted by Rt. Rev. Msgr. Theo. Rohner. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Karl and was born in the town of Calamus on September 26th, 1884. She had made her home at Los Angeles for the past twenty years.

Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Frank, John, Joseph and Jacob Karl, Mrs. Herman Thiede, Mrs. Minnie Clark and Miss Angeline Karl, all of Beaver Dam and George Karl of Rockford, Iowa.

Friends may call at the McKinstry Yauman funeral home after three o'clock Friday, and until the hour of the funeral.
