Maurice E. Talbott Last rites were conducted this afternoon at the Foster & Good funeral home for Maurice Edward TALBOTT, 61, 630 1/2 Main street, who died of a heart attack Saturday at 4:20 pm. The Rev. Harry TAYLOR officiated and burial will be in the Kewanna I.O.O.F. cemetery. Mr. Talbott was fatally stricken on the sidewalk in front of Cook Brothers furniture store. He was dead on arrival at Woodlawn hospital. Cause of death was listed by Dr. Howard ROWE, county coroner. Mr. Talbott resided above the furniture store. He had been in ill health over 20 years. Born Sept 26, 1902, in Kewanna, he was the son of James Bert and Jennie HICKLE TALBOTT and had spent most of his life in this county. His marriage was to Helen WELLER, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters; five sons; two sisters, Mrs. Belle SMITH, Columbus, O., and Mrs. Kiester KILE, Defiance, O.; three brothers, Albert [TALBOTT], Kewanna; Charles, R.R. 3, Rochester, and Simon R.R. 1, Kewanna, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding in death were three brothers and one child.
