Richard TALBOTT, 28, Metamora, Ill., died of a heart seizure Sunday (November 14, 1954) afternoon. Formerly of Kewanna, he had resided in Metamora the past six years.
He was born Feb. 10, 1926, at Kewanna. His parents are Morris and Helen TALBOTT. On Sept. 4, 1948, he was married to Patricia Lou MERLEY of Akron at Rochester.
Survivors are his mother, Kewanna; his father, Rochester; two sisters, Joann RIFFLE of Kewanna and Louise MILLER of Rochester; four brothers, Jerry [TALBOTT], with the U. S. Army in Texas; Jim [TALBOTT], of South Bend, and Doile and Ronnie [TALBOTT], Kewanna.
Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron. The Rev. Claude FAWNS will officiate and burial will be in the Akron I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
