Mrs. V. Dickmann of Kiel is Called to Rest on Sunday
Kiel, Wis. – Mrs. Valentine Dickmann, a resident of Kiel, passed away at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon at her home on N. Third street, following a lingering illness. The deceased was formerly Miss Henrietta Koeser, daughter of Karl and Christina Koeser.
She was born on May 8, 1863, in the town of Herman. On June 21, 1884, she was married to Valentine Dickmann in the town of Meeme. The couple then resided in towns of Herman and Meeme for some time and they also lived on the Koeser homestead near Ada for many years. For the past 26 years they have made their home on N. Third street in Kiel.
Mrs. Dickmann is survived by her husband and three children, Miss Adelia Dickmann of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Frieda Voss who resides in Kiel, and Edward Dickmann also of Kiel. Two children preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral home and at 2 p.m. at St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church.
The Rev. E. R. Worthman will be in charge of services and burial will be made in the church cemetery in Kiel.
