St. Clair - Edna C. Zweng, 94, of St Clair, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998 in Port Huron Hospital.
She was born Nov. 1, 1903 in St. Clair, to the late John and Theresa (Westrick) Zimmer. She married Leo Zweng on Oct. 6, 1926 and he died March 10, 1988.
Edna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair and the Rosary "Altar Society.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Jean Zweng; her grandchildren, Hal Zweng, Michael (Shirley) Zweng and May Zweng; a brother, Roy Zimmer; and three sisters-in-law, Christine DeSnyder, Mary Vollick and Rose Schneider; a brother-in-law, Leonard Zweng; and several nieces and nephews,.
Visitation begins today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. from the L. C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. A rosary will be said at 7:30 P.M. today in the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday from St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair with the Rev. Edward Ritter officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Scholarship Fund.
