Cecil was was born February 28, 1917, at Red Rock, to George W. and Myrta Marie Potts Loveless. He has lived in the local area all his life. He attended Perry High School and was employed 25 years as a tank truck salesman for the Farmers Cooperative Exchange of Perry. He retired January 1, 1981. Cecil was married February 21, 1938, at Guthrie to the former Treva Robison, who survives.

Cecil was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Elks Lodge.

In addition to Mrs. Loveless, of the home, survivors include one son, Cecil Loveless, Jr., Perry; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Schweer, Perry; three sisters, Mrs. John (Zella) Aigner, Perry; Mrs. Jonas (Launa) Bass, Murphy, Idaho; and Mrs. Jack (Inabell) Crandall, Wichita, Kansas; a daughter-in-law Joyce and seven grandchildren.

Cecil was preceded in death by one son, Larry R. "Buddy" Loveless; his parents, George and Myrta Loveless; his brothers, Harlie, Wilbur and Chester; his sisters, Elrean Loveless Golay, Vera, Della and Opal Loveless Chrz.

A memorial has been established with the heart fund of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

Funeral services will be a 2 p.m., Thursday at the the First Baptist Church. He died unexpectedly at 11:28 a.m. Tuesday at the Perry Memorial hospital. Rev. R. Fred Selby, pastor will officiate. Burial will be at Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Parker Funeral Home.

Casket bearers will be R. H. Hamann, Richard Kukuk, Alvin Nolte, Maurice Fischer, Walter Pagel and Ewald Karcher.
