Lorraine was the school cafeteria mom while her kids were in school and had endeared herself to the students. Lorraine loved to cook and care for people. She always spoke with endearing little sayings and phrases. She loved cats and dogs and always took in strays, providing them with plenty of love and nourishment (feeding her favorite Pekinese dogs Vanilla Wafers at night in bed). No doubt she was probably known as the "cat lady" to her neighbors *smile*. As a grandmother, Lorraine wore colorful muumuu dresses, wore a little red rouge, and kept her fingernails painted.
After the death of Lorraine's daughter Myrna, she and Leonard cared for and raised Myrna's two children. Later Lorraine was there to help raise and care for her great grandchildren, until her death from cancer. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. We miss her. She is buried with her husband Leonard.
