"Uncle Gerry" was the son of Leonard Erwin Snibley and Lorraine Iola (Northcott). He married Janet Pearl Adams and to this union a daughter was born; Regina Milinda Desiree. Gerry also fathered one son named Robert L. Zinskey.

Gerry joined the Army in 1958, where he took part in the Glomar Pacific Mission.

Gerry died of a heart attack after a long kidney illness.

He was cremated according to his own wishes and his cremains were scattered on the baseball diamond at Ventura High School where Gerry attended high school and played baseball in his youth.

Gerry is missed by his family, but his family rejoices and takes comfort in the fact that he is no longer ill or suffering.

"Gerald D. "Jerry" Snibley, 59 of Ventura has gone home to our Lord Aug. 19, 2001, after a lenghty illness. Arrangements are under the direction of Conejo Mountain Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Camarillo."
