Coley Sampson Richardson Sr., 82, retired employee of Mississippi Power and Light Company, died Monday, March 17 ,1986, at his home in Jackson.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Sharon Cemetery.

Mr. Richardson leaves his wife, Mrs. Mattie Mae Richardson of Jackson; two sons, James R. Richardson of Jackson and Coley S. Richardson of Madison.

Also, a brother, Tom Richardson of South Weare, New Hampshire; three sisters, Mrs. Emma McAlpin and Mrs. Terry Council of Magee, and Mrs. Annie Fortenberry of Osyka, Ms; and six grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were James R. Richardson, Coley Richardson Jr., G.C. Coleman Jr., Tom McAlpin, Joe Fortenberry, McRae Richardson and Roland Hough.

Officiating ministers were the Rev. Barney Padgett, the Rev. Coley Arender and Dr. Benton Preston.
