Onva Lowe, age 67 of Oneida, Tennessee passed away on Sunday August 9, 2009 at home.

Born on July 25, 1942 in the Smokey Creek Community, he was the son of the late Russell Lowe and the late Erva Carroll Lowe. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion Post, and the DAV.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Herbert Lowe and Jacob Lowe. Two Nieces: Sharon Mays
and Judy Thomas. One Nephew: William Lowe.

He is survived by: Two Brothers: Floyd Lowe of Winchester, Indiana and Rexford Lowe of Florida. Three Sisters: Hazel Mays, Mazel Thompson both of Oneida, and Elsie Fordice of Winston, Oregon. Special Friends: Gary Terry, Ernie Newport, Trish Kidd, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday Afternoon August 16, 2009 from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Military Style Funeral Services being conducted at 3:00 P.M. with VFW Chaplin Kenneth Vanhook officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Memorial Cemetery in the New Haven Community with full Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post # 136.
