Clarence Eugene, a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Hudson, was born June 29, 1857, and departed this life at the old parental home in New Centerville, Wis., July 3, 1931, at the age of 74 years and 4 days.
He is survived by two brothers, W. J. of New Centerville, and Joseph K. of Ellsworth, Wis., and three sisters: Mrs. A. W. Babcock, of New Centerville; Mrs. Mike McCartney of River Falls, and Mrs. Jacob Vandenberg of Baldwin, Wis. Other relatives and friends survive.
Mr. Hudson was said to have been a man who believed in his own personal views of religion. He was quiet, honest and a loyal American citizen, and one who loved his home and country.
Funeral services were conducted from the New Centerville Methodist church at 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, 1931, the Rev. G. C. Wadding officiating. Interment was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
