William Hudson was born to Josiah and Samantha Hudson Nov. 27, 1869, at Martell, Wis.
He passed away at the home of his daughter,Mrs. Ernest Hall, of Emerald Oct. 3, 1944, at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 2 days.
He was united in marriage to Ethel Hampton of New Centerville Oct. 3, 1897. To this union were born eleven children, two of whom died in infancy. Those left to mourn his loss are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Hudson, of New Centerville, Mrs. Emil Rasmussen of Webster, Wis., Mrs. Ethel Hall of Emerald, Wis., Alfred and Phillip Hudson of Newport, Minn., Henry and Garold Hudson of New Centerville, Archie, Ralph, Randolph serving in the armed forces of our country; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Vandenberg of River Falls, Wis., Mrs. Rosetta Babcock of Portland, Oregon; eleven grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
