LEWIS BOHANNON
Lewis Bohannon, 91, of Crossville, passed away March 14, 2000, in WyndRidge Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were conducted March 17 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Eastland Cemetery. Dr. James H. Beasley Jr. officiated, with special music by Ann Looney.
Mr. Bohannon was born Jan. 1, 1909 in White County, the son of James and Beulah Dunn Bohannon.
He was a salesman for Army-Navy Store, and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Edmonds Bohannon of Crossville; three sons, David Bohannon of Woodbridge, VA, Richard Bohannon of Bethlehem, PA, and Kenneth Bohannon of Old Orchard, ME; brother, William Bohannon of Bon Aire, TN; sister, Rebecca Groves of Cookeville, TN; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were William Clark Bohannon, Harry Bohannon, William Franklin Bohannon, R.E. Bohannon, David M. Bohannon II and Stephen J. Bohannon.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
