Wayne Patrick Higdon, 49, of Elizabethtown, passed away December 28, 1987 at the Grayson County Hospital.
Born January 6, 1938 in Grayson County, he was the son of Joseph Edward and Carrie Smith Higdon, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Grimes and Shelia Higdon, both of Elizabethtown; six brothers, Willard Higdon, Wax, Frank and Dewey Higdon, both of Indiana, George Higdon, Illinois, Robert Higdon, Clarkson and Virgil Higdon of Summitt and three sisters, Lois Alvey, Clarkson, Nora Higdon, Howevalley and Pearl Higdon, Indiana.
Funeral services were held December 30, 1987 at the St. Benedict Catholic Church with Reverend Raymond Goetz officiating and burial in the St. Benedict Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
