Laura A. Konen, 84, of 28 Oaklawn Ave., formerly of Johnsburg, died Mon. Oct. 14, 1991, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1906, in Mt. Calvary, a daughter of John and Rose Abler Koenigs. On Oct. 25, 1927, she married Albert Konen at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary. Mrs. Konen and her husband resided in Johnsburg. She moved to Fond du Lac in 1972. Mrs. Konen was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg and its Christian Mothers.

Survivors include one son, Harvey and his wife Delphine of New Holstein; two daughters, Dolores Anhalt and her husband Orville of New Holstein, and Evelyn Olig of Fond du Lac; one daughter-in-law, Marie Konen of Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Angela Stephanie of Mt. Calvary, Marcella Lefeber of Armstrong and Loretta Fleischman of Fond du Lac.

Preceding her in death were one son, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, six brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Huss Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic church, Johnsburg. The Rev. Walter Orzechowski will officiate, and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where a parish vigil service will be held at 8 p.m.
