Homer Adams, 56, of Mattawanna, died Wednesday, September 1, 1971 at 4:30 a.m. in the F. W. Black Community Hospital, Lewistown. He was retired from Haws Refractory and was a member of the Mattawana Mennonite Church. Born January 23, 1915, at Hornings Ford, he was a son of Mrs. Carrie Moist Adams of Mattawana and the late Chester Adams.

Suriviving are his wife, the former Ruth Park; two sons, Donald of Mattawana and Terry, at home; two stepsons, Dewayne Palm of Granville and Harold R. Palm, serving with the U. S. Army in Vietnam; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Elsie Ripple of Mount Union, Patricia Palm and Mrs. Richard (Wanda) Miller, both of Longfellow; four brothers, John Kenepp of Mount Union, Miles Adams of Mattawana, Melvin of McVeytown, and Richard of Mattawana; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Settle of Lewistown, Blanche Adams of New Jersey, Mrs. George (Sue) Heimbaugh of Mattawana, Mrs. Ray (Florence) Weaver of Lewistown R.D. 2, and Mrs. Jack (Charlotte) Fisher of Mattawana; and two grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at McVeytown.

Interment will be made in Hertzler Cemetery.
