LEWISTOWN - Susie Adams Heimbach Colledge, 92, of Ohesson Manor Nursing Home, and originally from Mattawana, went to be with the Lord at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, at the nursing home.

Born on June 27, 1916, in Ligonier, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Chester and Carrie (Moist) Adams. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George A. Heimbach, in 1976, and her second husband, Lawrence W. Colledge, in 2006.

Surviving are: daughters, Nancy Rhodes and husband Larry, of Holly Springs, N.C., Judy Swigart and husband Robert, of Factoryville, and Kathy Glace and husband Albert, of McVeytown.

Also surviving: are sisters, Grace Mizerek, of Fresno, Calif., Florence Weaver, of Lewistown; a brother, Melvin Adams and wife Ruth, of McVeytown; and sister, Charlotte "Betsy" Fisher, of Mattawana; six grandchildren, Wendy Schell, of Lewistown, Cynthia Catella, of Apex, N.C., Gregory Swigart, of Nazareth, Elizabeth Swigart, of Factoryville, Amy Martinelli, of Muncy, and Jason Driesbach, of Elizabethtown; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by sisters Annie Adams, Dora Zeiders, Blanche Adams, Mary Settle; and brothers, Richard, Homer, and Myles Adams.

She was a member of Pine Glen Church of the Brethren.

She was a homemaker, a loving mother and especially loved children.

She enjoyed gardening and sewing.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, at Pine Glen Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Donald Peters officiating. Interment will be private at Juniata Memorial Park.

Family will provide all flowers.
