Surviving are his wife, Anna Archer; four sons, Thomas E., Weirton, James A., Canton, Charles F., Cleveland, and Clarence W., at home; one step-daughter, Mrs. Rada Fletcher, Sistersville; two step-sons, Roy Ice, Bryson, Tex., four brothers, Blain, Schuyler, Lyde and Charles Archer, all of Sistersville; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Sawyer-Sellers funeral home in Middlebourne, but arrangements for services and burial were incomplete last night.
