Born October 16, 1923, in Alliance, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Guilo Damiani and the late Rose Petraroli Damiani, and was the wife of the late Joseph J. Pistillo.
Mrs. Pistillo was formerly employed as an office manager, and was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Gaffney, S.C.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ed Monter of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Ed Monter of Stow, Ohio, Randy Monter of Greenville, S.C., and Joseph Monter of Gaffney, S.C; two sisters, Louise Zambron and Irene Werbung, both of Alliance, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Marcus Falcone of Alliance, Ohio; and special friends at Agape Hospice in Spartanburg, S.C.
A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Pistillo will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 10:00 am in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 407 Grace Street, Gaffney, S.C., conducted by Father Michael F McCafferty. Interment will be in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Alliance, Ohio, on Monday, May 21, 2012.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Judy Monter, 1117 Cherokee National Highway, in Gaffney, S.C.
