Louisa (went by Louise) Josephine Nading was the eldest of seven known children of Joseph Nading (1811-1862) and Maria (went by Polly) Rothrock (1812-1880), who married 30 Oct 1834 at Lewisville, Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Louise was born at or near Friedberg, then at the border of Stokes and Davidson Countyies, present day border between Forsyth and Davidson Counties, North Carolina. Louise moved with her family from North Carolina to Illinois in about 1842.

Louise married John Friedrich Leediker (1828-1900) on 18 Mar 1856 at Richland County, Illinois. In about 1879 the family moved from Illinois to Texas (for Louise's health). The family operated a hotel at Crockett, Houston County, Texas up until about 1900. Louise and John were the parents of nine known children, namely:

1. Edward Alexander Leediker (1857-1951)
2. Adam N. Leediker (1859-1946)
3. Hannah Leediker (1861-c1870-1880)
4. Emma Elizabeth Leediker Gilbert (1863-1948)
5. William Homer Leediker (1868-1950)
6. John Friedrich Leediker (1869-1881)
7. Augustus Immanuel Leediker (1872-1915)
8. Sarah Matilda Leediker Price (1875-1958)
9. Samuel Chester Leediker (1879-1918)
