Veronica M. Buchman, 89, of Kiel, died Monday afternoon, November 23, 2009 at her home.

She was born April 5, 1920 in New Holstein, daughter of the late Edward and Anna Hartman Hoefler.

On June 29, 1946 she married Ellsworth Buchman at St. Ann Catholic Church, St. Anna.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ellsworth of Kiel; four brothers, Herbert (Stella) Hoefler, Kiel, George (Mildred) Hoefler, New Holstein, Lester (Fern) Hoefler, Green Bay, Edward (Margene) Hoefler, New Holstein; one sister, Lucille Koenig, School Hill and two sisters-in-law, Hazel Kattre, Kiel and Shirley Schlichting, Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Edmund Hoefler and two sisters, Evelyn Koenig and Mary Grube.

Funeral services for Veronica held November 28, 2009 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St. Kiel, George Enevoldsen will preside. Burial will take place in the Kiel City Cemetery.
