Mrs. Charles R. Grube, 55, of St. Anna, died early Sunday evening at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient the past week.
The former Mary M. Hoefler, she was born June 9, 1922, in the Town of New Holstein, a daughter of the late Edward and Anna Hartman Hoefler. She attended St. Anna Catholic School at St. Anna. On Oct. 3, 1942, she was married to Mr. Grube at St. Anna. The couple resided in the Kiel area until May 1952 when they moved to St. Anna. Mrs. Grube was employed at the Lauson Engine Division of Tecumseh Products Co., New Holstein. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society of the parish and was a retired member of International Association of Machinists Local 1259.
Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Beverly) Lynch of Sheboygan and Mrs. Ross (Kristine) Jaeckel of Kiel; three sons, Brian R. of New Holstein, Terence of Kiel and Michael H. of Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ellsworth Buchman of Kiel, Mrs. Robert Koenig of rural Kiel and Mrs. Ervin Koenig of Route 1, Newton; five brothers, Joseph and Edward Jr., both of rural New Holstein, George of rural Elkhart Lake, Lester of St. Germaine and Herbert of Kiel. A brother preceded her in death.
