Lyanna Hein, 68, of 726 St. Paul St., Kiel, died Wednesday afternoon at Greendale Health Center in Sheboygan where she had resided for six days. She had been in ill health for the last year and a half.
The former Lyanna Moritz was born Jan. 17, 1917, in Kiel, daughter of the late Anton and Anna Mahlich Moritz. She graduated from Kiel High School in 1934, and was married to Leo Hein on July 26, 1938 in Kiel.
She was employed at Graef's Drug Store, the Hansen Glove Factory and the Kiel Medicine Chest. She was also a radio dispatcher for the City of Kiel until retirement in 1982. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church and its Christian Mothers Society.
Mrs. Hein is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Anna) Hickson of Milwaukee, and Mrs. John (Margie) Dedering of Kiel; one son, William, rural Valders; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; one sisters, Mrs. Frances Brieger and a brother, Manfred Moritz, both of Kiel. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ss. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Thomas Leannah, pastor, celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
