Manfred (Tucky) Moritz, 76, of 618A St. Paul Street, Kiel, died Wednesday afternoon, September 19, in Las Vegas, Nevada, of an apparent heart attack.
He was born April 28, 1914, at Kiel, son of the late Anton and Anna Mahlich Moritz. He graduated from Kiel High School in 1932.
On July 6, 1940, he married Harriet Triller in Menomonee Falls. She died on November 25, 1978. On September 26, 1981 he married Virginia Tennessen Wilkens at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. He was a master plumber in the Kiel area, retiring in 1976. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Kiel and the Kiel Masonic Lodge Number 336 F & AM. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; two sons, Gary (Junelle) of Manitowoc; Lee (Mari-Lynn) of Monona; one daughter, Lynn (Michael) Gutoske of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; and one sisters, Mrs. Francis Brieger of Kiel. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Kiel, with the Rev. Barbara Horner-Ibler, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Kiel City Cemetery.
