Last week Wednesday at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Mr. Otto Karstaedt from town Schleswig, died from a two week illness due to appendicitis.
The deceased was 42 years old and is survived by his grieving wife, and one daughter as well as six bothers. He was born on February 12, 1872 in Town Sheboygan and married Lizzie Voss in 1893.
Mr. Karstaedt has run a cheese factory in town Schleswig for many years, and is well known and respected by all. The burial took place on Saturday afternoon at the cemetery of the Reformed Church of Schleswig with Pastor Hauser officiating, with numerous mourners attending.
