Raymond, age 95, passed away on Friday. He was born to Frank & Helen (Spahn) Acker. Raymond was united in marriage to Rose Marx on May 3, 1939 in Martinsville. She preceded him in death in 2005.
Raymond is survived by his four daughters, three sons, 23 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren, five sisters, a brother, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to his loving wife of 66 years, Rose Acker he was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Gerard; brothers and sisters, Jerome ( in childhood) Casper, Greg, Ed, Jerome, and Marcella Wagner; sons-in-law, Roger Ballweg and James Boyd.
