ELIZABETH ROSENBAUER

Mrs. Elizabeth Rosenbauer, 79, former Town of Schleswig resident, diedearly Saturday morning at the home of a son-in-law and daughter on Highway42 in the Town of Meeme. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday atthe Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, the Rev. William Hartwig, Pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Rosenbauer was born in the Town of Rhine, Sheboygan County, on Feb.13, 1875, daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Uhl. She was married toJohn Rosenabuer on April 18, 1896, and the couple operated a farm in Schleswig until Mr. Rosenbauer died in January of 1933. Since 1940 she had resided with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gosse.
Survivors include a son, George of Chicago; seven daughters, Mrs.Hugo Kuester, Mrs. Arvin Kohl andMrs. Nick Spannagel of Sheboygan, Mrs. Arthur Gosse of Meeme, Mrs. Arthur Arnold of Kiel, Mrs. Gustave Ehrlich of the Town of Mosel and Mrs. Herbert Griffith of Cleveland,Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Besides her husband,she was preceded in death by a daughter, five sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of service.
