FUNERALS
ATWOOD - Funeral services for Mrs. Viola B. Atwood were held yesterday at her home in Pelham Center and were largely attended by relatives and friends. Rev. E. D. Thistlewaite, pastor of the First Congregational church of Pelham, officiated. There were many floral tributes. Mrs. Charles Richardson sang appropriate selections. The bearers were Walter S., George F., Ervin J., and Charles E. Burton, all brothers of Mrs. Atwood. Burial was in the Gibson Annex cemetery in Pelham, where Rev. Mr. Thistlewaite read the commital prayers. The funeral arrangements were in the charge of Undertaker Hiram C. Brown.
