The family resided here in St. Anna for many years and at the present about four miles northwest of this village.
He is survived by his wife, nee Caroline Schnur, and five children, viz; Ella, Lawrence, Alfred, Vila and Evyline all at home, one brother, Geo. Kobriger of Charlesburg and two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Wick and Mrs. Nic. Schnur.
The funeral was held here on Monday morning with interment in St. Ann cemetery, Rev. Fr. J. H. Schmitt officiating. The deceased also was a member of St. Joseph’s men Society who escorted the remains to the grave.
