Mrs. Alice Conger Succumbs Today

Mrs. Alice Catherine Conger of Drew died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. W. Wofford Wednesday morning at 2:10 o'clock.

Services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock at Vaiden Presbyterian church, with the Rev. W. B. Baker officiating. Burial will be in Vaiden cemetery with Williams and Lord in charge. The body will lie in state at the funeral chapel until Thursday morning.

Mrs. Conger, who was 95, was a member of the Methodist church.

She leaves four daughters, Mrs. G. W. Wofford of Drew; Mrs. M. B. Kelly of Shreveport, La.; Mrs. C. C. Nix of Birmingham, Ala.; Mrs. L. C. Hodges of Sidon; three sons, J. W. Conger of Winona; B. C. Conger of Malvina and T. W. Conger of Ruleville; two sisters, Mrs. Callie Sudduth of McCarley; Mrs. Jim Q. Smith of Isola; three brothers, T. O. Herod and A. G. Herod of McCarley; Jim Herod of Forest City, Ark; also 33 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren.
