Mrs. Terhune Dies at Hospital
Operator of Business College Dies at 72
Mrs. Grace Terhune, 72, associated with the local Terhune Secretarial College for 27 years, died at Major Hospital Sunday morning. She had been seriously ill for 12 weeks and hospitilized four weeks. Her home was at 26 East Pennsylvania St.
The daughter of John and Jane (Dubois) Sanders, Mrs. Terhune was born in Marion Township December 13, 1884. In 1918 she was married to William R. Terhune who operated a secretarial school in Indianapolis for several years. Surviving with the husband are two children, Mrs. Alice Williams of this city and William Terhune. There are three grandchildren and also surviving are two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Ruby Cossairt, Mrs. Pearl Illingworth and Perce Sanders of this city and Homer Sanders of Blue Ridge.
Mrs. Terhune was a member of the First Methodist Church. Her funeral will be held at the Murphy Mortuary Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. S. J. Cross officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.
