A quiet wedding took place at the home of the officiating clergyman, Rev. H. H. Davis of Amsterdam, Thursday evening, November 16, 1903. The contracting parties were Roy Shotwell and Miss Clara Tuten, both of this place. They have the well wishes of their many friends.

Roy J. Shotwell, 79, of 232 3rd Street SE, Carrollton, died June 29 after an illness of three months. A retired laborer, he was born December 11, 1881, in Carroll County, a son of the late Thomas W. and Rosannah (Albaugh) Shotwell. Surviving are a son, Byron Shotwell, of Carrollton and two grandchildren. Services were July 1 at the Sweeney Funeral Home here with burial in Perrysville Cemetery.
