Goldie F. Oxley, 94, a resident of the United Methodist Village of Lawrenceville, died about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the village. She was a former Robinson resident.

Born in Warren, Ind., May 21, 1893, she was a daughter of John and Ida May Sowerwine Jackson. She was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ and order of Eastern Star.

On Oct. 9, 1912, she married Albert C. Oxley and he died July 11, 1960. Also preceding her in death were a son, Cecil Oxley; a daughter, Madeline York; a brother and three sisters.

Surviving are a son, Charles Oxley, Glen Ellyn; a daughter, Irene Voght, Huntington, Ind; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchldren.

The funeral is 10 a.m. Friday at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson with Rev. Tom Akers officiating. Burial is in Robinson New Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and until service time Friday.
