Daughter of John and Anna (Proppe) DeWald, she was one of eleven children. Agnes trained as a registered nurse at St. Alphonsus hospital in Boise where she graduated in 1931. Upon completion of her schooling she and Mr. Keith Angleton were married in Nampa in 1931.
During World War II they moved to Long Beach, Ca., where Agnes worked in a hospital, they later moved to Mountain Home and then back to Idaho. Their were no children issued of this marriage.
