Anna J. Wells, 88, of Tremont died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1997, at Pekin Hospital in Pekin.
Born Aug. 19, 1909 in Danvers to John E. and Mary Rassbach Reel, she married William S. Wells Sr. on Dec. 10, 1927. He died Sept. 10, 1972. One son, one granddaughter, three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, Ernest of Groveland, Donald of Delavan, Willis of Peoria Heights and William Jr. of Manito; two daughters, Deloris Otto of San Jose and Roberta Wells of Tremont; one sister Pauline Fehr of Eureka, 22 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at Davis Mortuary in Tremont. The Rev. Kevin Siscoe will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 at the mortuary. Burial will be in Mackinaw Cemetery in Mackinaw.
