Surviving besides his wife and parents of Tremont; three daughters, Regina, Ramona and Tina all of Pekin; four brothers, Ernest of East Peoria (Groveland), Willis of Tremont, Donald L. and William S. Wells Jr. both of Pekin; two sisters, Mrs. Delores Otto of North Pekin and Roberta Mae Wells of Tremont.
Mr. Wells was employed by Corn Products Co., as a pipefitter since 1947. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the First Methodist Church.
