Willis D. Wells, 77, of Peoria Heights, IL, died Tuesday September 4, 2012 at his home.

Bill was born June 2, 1935 in Allentown to William S. and Anna J. Reel Wells. He married Oleta I. Perkins. She survives.

Also surviving are; one son Billy (Kim) Wells of Peoria Heights, three daughters, Leanne Reardon of Peoria, Jody Wells of Pekin, Debbie Wells of Pekin, two step-daughters, Helen Shinn of Manito, Sandra Richmand of Peoria, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ernest E. Wells of Groveland, William S. (Marietta) Wells of Pekin, two sisters, Delores Otto of Lincoln, Roberta May Wells of Illinois.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Don and Ray.

Bill worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co. 30 years retiring in 1993. He was an Army veteran. He attended Community Fellowship General Baptist Church in South Pekin.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday September 7, 2012 at Haensel Funeral Home in Mackinaw. The Rev. Dowice Ashley will officiate. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Thursday September 6, at Haensel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mackinaw Township Cemetery.
