Edna Pearl PRATT, 92, Macy, died at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday at the Rochester Nursing Home. Born in Miami County Dec. 15, 1896 to Henry S. and Cora HARTMAN HECKATHORN, she married Harvey O. PRATT on June 19, 1924, in Louisville, Ky. He died Nov. 22, 1962. She was a member of the Macy United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Macy Mothers Club, and was a past matron and a 60-year member of the Macy Eastern Star. She was a former employee of the Kingsbury (Ind.) Ordinance Plant. Surviving are a sister, Golda F. BRIGGS, Macy; two brothers, Kirch G. HECKATHORN, Rt. 1, Macy, and Kenneth D. HECKATHORN, Rt. 6, Rochester. She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Wayne BABER; a sister, Alta OLMSTED, and a brother, Lester HECKATHORN. Services will be at McCain Funeral Home, Denver, at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Gene JANIK officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Macy. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Eastern Star services will be at 7 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the Macy United Methodist Church, the Macy Cemetery Association or the Disabled American Veterans.
