Mrs. Julia Griffith Cissel, widow of Richard Humphrey Cissel, died Thursday night at her home near Darnestown, Montgomery County, aged 71 years.

Mrs. Cissel was a daughter of the late Howard Griffith of Beallsville and was a lifelong resident of this county.

She is survived by the following children: R. Thomas and Humphrey Cissel, of Washington; Mrs. John T. Williams, of Kensington; Mrs. Julian B. Waters, of Germantown; Eugene W. Cissel, of Rockville, and Albert and William G. Cissel, of Darnestown. She also leaves two brothers, Charles G Griffith and William T Griffith, of Beallsville.
