Jake C. Eller, 55, of Chilhowie died in a Marion hospital this Tuesday morning.

Funeral service was to have been conducted this Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church, with the Rev. Blaine Eggers, Dr. E. E. Vaught and the Rev. Rex Hall officiating. Burial was to have followed in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Flora Blevins Eller, Chilhowie; three daughters, Mrs. Goy Reeves, Mrs. Charles R. Gilbert, both of Marion, and Mrs. James D. Thompson, Glade Spring; two sons, Robert Lee Eller, Chilhowie, and Jake C. Eller, Jr., Marion; his father, William Eller, Chilhowie; four sisters, Mrs. Roby Richardson and Mrs. John Anderson, both of Marion, Mrs. Howard Yazell and Mrs. Martha Burkhart, both of Springfield, Ohio; four brothers, Claude Eller, Bossevain, John Eller, Rock, W.Va., Lee Eller and Clarence Eller, both of Chilhowie, and six grandchildren.

Williams Funeral Home, Chilhowie, was in charge of arrangements.
