Born December 17, 1900 in Ashe County, N. C. She was a daughter of William M. and America Taylor Eller.
She was a member of Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, John William Anderson and a son, Charles Everett Anderson.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine A. Melvin, North Tazewell, and Helen A. Hamm, Marion; two sons, Herman Anderson and Johney B. Anderson, both of Marion; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at the Cleghorn Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Blevins officiating.
Burial followed in the old Cleghorn Cemetery.
Newberry Funeral Home in Chilhowie was in charge of arrangements.
