Mrs. Emma Lemke, 96, formerly of 2113 Kemper St., Manitowoc, died Monday evening in Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn H. Unke will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Lemke, nee Emma Schultz, was born Feb. 23, 1881, in Rantoul, daughter of the late William and Tillie Schreiber Schultz. She was married to Robert Dickert in 1899. They farmed in Manitowoc County. He preceded her in death in 1929. She moved to Manitowoc in 1936 when she was married to William Lemke. He preceded her in death in 1952.
Survivors include a son, Robert Dickert of Manitowoc; five daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Elsie) Naidl, Mrs. Cyril (Hilda) Wuellner and Mrs. Christian (Adeline) Peitersen (sic) of Manitowoc, Mrs. Edward (Clara) Swetlik of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Paul (Violet) Behnke of Brillion; a son-in-law, Paul Lindemann of Sheboygan; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Paul (Hilda) Dickert of Manitowoc, 13 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren. A daughter, three sons, three brothers, and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call in the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until noon Thursday when the casket will be moved to the church.
