Gaffney, S.C. - Minnie Louise Allison Pierce, 82, of 100 Fairfield Drive, Apt. 16-A, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at her daughter’s residence in Blacksburg.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Alfred Andrew Pierce and daughter of the late Richard Garfield Allison and Lillie Douglas Vinesett Allison.

Mrs. Pierce was a homemaker and was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. She loved her Pastor, her Church and her family and was a wonderful Mama and Memaw.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne Pierce and Ricky Pierce and wife, Cindy, all of Gaffney; a daughter, Patricia Pierce Gill and fiancé, Mike Martin, of Blacksburg; two brothers, Kelton Allison and wife, Mary, and Bill Allison and wife, Lorene, all of Gaffney; a sister, Martha Lemmons and husband, Sidney, of Gaffney; a brother-in-law, Johnny Fowler of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Andy Pierce and fiancé, Veronica Moe, Jennifer Richardson, Lisa Pierce and William Jackson and wife, Candace; special grands, Misty Martin and Ashley Costner and husband, Billy; eight great-grandchildren, Makayla, Destiny, Kieli, Jake, Kinzley, Riley Adalie and Gavin.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Carol Fowler and a brother, Leon Allison.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at New Heights Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Church with Rev. Sidney Norton officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
